1. Services Provided
AvalancheMap provides terrain analysis reports, aerial documentation, and professional support services for mountain projects and infrastructure. All deliverables are for informational and decision support purposes only.
2. Scope and Limitations
Our reports and analyses are subject to the following limitations:
- Reports do NOT constitute professional engineering assessments or signed/sealed engineering documents
- Analysis is based on available data sources including public records, satellite imagery, and field surveys
- Terrain conditions change over time due to weather, development, and natural events
- Property owners must engage licensed professionals (engineers, surveyors, etc.) for regulatory compliance
3. Professional Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
- Verifying all information with licensed professionals before making decisions
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Conducting on-site evaluations with qualified experts
- Complying with all local, state, and federal regulations
4. Liability
AvalancheMap's liability is limited to the fee paid for services. We are not responsible for:
- Decisions made based on our reports
- Changes in terrain conditions after report delivery
- Errors in third-party data sources
- Damages resulting from failure to engage licensed professionals
5. Payment Terms
Services are provided on a prepaid basis. Coverage confirmation provided within 24 hours. Reports delivered within stated timeframes or client will be notified of delays.
6. Intellectual Property
Reports and analyses are licensed to the client for their internal use related to the specific property. Resale, redistribution, or commercial use beyond the original purpose requires written permission.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing legal action.
